How it works

Four steps, start to credit

Share your code

Open the app and find your invite code in the Earn section. Share the link, the code, or the QR — all three carry the same code.

They join and get verified

Your friend installs Corneroom and signs up. If they came from your link on Android the code attaches by itself; on iPhone they enter it at sign-up.

They book their first paid space

The reward is tied to a real booking, not a sign-up. Once their first paid stay is confirmed, the referral completes.

You both get $5

Two $5 credits are issued — one to you, one to them — and they show up in your wallet in the app, ready to use on a future booking.

What to know before you share

We'd rather you read this here than find out after. These are all the rules there are.

It's a credit, not a payout

Your $5 arrives as a credit in your Corneroom wallet and comes off your next booking. It isn't cash and doesn't transfer to your bank.

Use it within 30 days

Each credit is valid for 30 days from the day it's issued. After that it expires, so it's worth spending on your next trip rather than saving it.

Free stays don't earn it

The reward is triggered by a paid booking. Community stays and other free bookings are genuinely free — but they don't complete a referral.

One reward per person you invite

It's the first paid booking that counts. Your friend's later bookings won't issue another pair of credits.

Up to 10 in a month

You can earn up to 10 completed referrals in any rolling 30-day period. It keeps the program fair for everyone, and it's well above what most people ever hit.

One code per account

An account can be referred once, and you can't refer yourself. Codes are checked when they're applied.

How much do I get for referring someone?
$5 for you and $5 for them — issued once your friend completes their first paid booking. Both credits appear in the wallet in the app.
When exactly does the credit arrive?
When your friend's first paid booking is confirmed, not when they sign up or install the app. If they've joined but haven't booked yet, the referral is still pending.
Why hasn't my credit arrived?
The usual reasons: your friend hasn't made a paid booking yet, their booking was a free community stay (those don't qualify), or they'd already been referred by someone else. Codes can only be applied to an account once.
Does the credit expire?
Yes — 30 days from the day it's issued. It's designed to go toward your next booking rather than sit in your wallet.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
You can earn up to 10 completed referrals in any rolling 30-day window. There's no limit on how many people you share your code with — the cap is on rewards, and it's there to keep the program fair.
My friend installed the app but the code wasn't applied
On Android, opening your link and installing from Google Play attaches the code automatically. On iPhone there's no way for a link to carry through an install, so the code has to be entered manually — it's shown on the invite page, and there's an "Invite code" field at sign-up.
Can I refer someone who already has an account?
No. Referrals are for people new to Corneroom. An existing account can't have a code applied to it.
Can I use my credit on any kind of space?
Yes — a credit works on any paid booking, whatever the category. Sleep, work, shower, boat and more.
